The world’s fifth largest nickel producer, Xstrata Nickel manages an annual production of more than 92,000 tonnes of refined nickel from its fully-integrated operations. Xstrata Nickel is also one of the world’s largest recyclers and processors of nickel and cobalt-bearing materials. Our operations include mines and processing facilities in Canada, Norway, the Dominican Republic and Australia.

Xstrata Nickel markets and sells nickel, ferronickel, cobalt and other products that are refined at our Norway and Dominican Republic operations. Primary end uses are consumer and household products, automotive, medical equipment, power generation, aerospace, telecommunication and transportation equipment.
